Annabel Quisao is a social dancing addict who loves the challenge and excitement of competition (and wins a lot of them), and helping students develop the technique and enthusiasm for fun, fulfilling dances. She is currently the Education Director of New Columbia Swing.
Bobby White has been winning competitions and geeking out on teaching Balboa for many years. His passion for the dances is rivaled only by his passion for teaching and swing dance pedagogy. He is the author of the popular swing dance blog Swungover*, and the book “Practice Swing.”
Heather Ballew has always been drawn to music and movement. She holds lots of championship titles, but her proudest dance achievement to date has been organizing and growing a group of mighty fine dancers in her hometown.
Sylvia Sykes is the reason we are all dancing Balboa today. She learned directly from original legends of Southern California and travels the world teaching those lessons. She was a badass before you were born.
